When it keeps raining

Saturday night the weather forecast was looking bleak. I made a few calls and organized an alternative. I gathered a fellow riding buddies and we bunkered down inside for a trainer session.
This is no ordinary trainer session, in fact i am pretty convinced it can feel harder than racing. It last 3 hours with no breaks. My average heart rate for the 3 hours was 165bpm or 85% of max heart rate. Anyone that finishes is very fit, and everyone toughed it out.
This is a great way to still train hard even when the rain won't let up. You don't miss vital workouts and i believe that it makes racing easy. So next time it's pissing down, gather some mates together and prepare to smash the competition.
